The 3D artwork above is based on Walt Disney's classic feature, "Pinocchio". The final feature's puppet was designed by animators Fred Moore and Milt Kahl. The feature film's workshop background styling was Tom Codrick/Layout and Claude Coats/Background.
These incredibly talented men under Walt Disney's inspired leadership, were masters of the craft and attempting to translate their original creations into 3D is an honor and pleasure (and kinda freaky).
I did the modeling, rigging, textures, lighting and animation of all pieces on this page.
Here is a still from the Pinocchio character spin on the left. This was only included to demonstate more of the surface detail and texture mapping than could be shown in the quicktime movie on the left.
I use primarily Lightwave and Maya for my 3D work but am willing to learn any new software requested.
